Shields, wonderful Shields!🛡 Earn these powerful items by landing on three Shields on the Board. They’re just what the doctor ordered to defend your Village from attacks, so stock up on them to keep your Village safe and sound. 🏡

As soon as you have a Shield, it will automatically protect your Village from another player's attack; you don’t even have to lift a finger! The funny thing about Shields though, is they can only be used once, so fill up on them when you can. 

Can I buy Shields in the shop?

The only way to obtain Shields is by winning them on the Board, which means they aren’t available to purchase in the shop.

Where can I check how many Shields I have?

Your Shields are located in the upper right-hand corner of the game screen, in between your Stars and the Main Menu. When a Shield is used to defend your Village from an attack, you’ll notice that one gets removed from your inventory.

How many Shields can I have?

The Village you're in determines the maximum number of Shields you can have at once. To check how many are available for you to collect, see your Shields inventory in the upper right-hand corner of the game screen. 

But, what happens if I land on three Shields on the Board when I have the maximum amount of Shields? 

First off, that's great news, you’re very well protected! In even better news, the Energy you just used when you landed on those Shields actually return right back to you, so you’ll see an animation of the Energy returning from the Shields to the Energy Counter. Think of it as your little Energy do-over! Yeah, we also love when that happens! 😍 
 

What if I land on three Shields while I’m using the Energy Multiplier?

If the Multiplier is used, your Shields will fill up as usual, and any remaining Shields are returned back to you as Energy. If you already have the maximum amount of Shields, the Energy you used go straight back to you.
